My Journey
Hello! My name is Ilyas.
I started my career in the culinary field, graduating from culinary college and later earning a degree in Tourism Management from St. Petersburg University of Management, Economics and Law. I worked as a chef before opening a student cafeteria with my wife, and later launched a women’s clothing and accessories store, where I managed wholesale operations and supply chains with products sourced from the UAE.
Later, I joined a business producing custom aquariums and furniture, focusing on promotion, client relations, and supply management. The company grew rapidly and received large-scale orders across Russia.
In 2022, I relocated to Georgia and shifted my career into IT. I completed courses in Golang programming and actively participated in hackathons, where my teams achieved 3rd and 4th place finishes. One of our projects — a Web3 donation platform for the TON ecosystem — won the Audience Choice Award.
I also joined a Bootcamp in Tbilisi, where we developed GeoHealth, a Telegram-based health monitoring ecosystem that grew into a startup. I took on multiple roles: developer, project manager, and tester. This experience showed me that I am not only a developer, but also a manager, analyst, and team leader.

Alongside this, I attended Web3 and Telegram-related conferences, including the TON Conference in Dubai, gaining valuable insights from industry leaders.
Today, I contribute remotely to Custom Cabinets LA, focusing on promotion, LinkedIn marketing, Google Maps strategy, and website development. Over the last 2.5 years in Georgia, I have built a new career in IT, gained versatile professional skills, and became a Google Maps Local Guide Level 7 with over 3M+ views on my contributions.
